This Summer I had the chance to spend one month in Tuscany, enjoying the mighty silence in the coutryside, the overcrowded cities and the refreshing seaside. It was a great inspiration holiday and also a time for charging my batteries with new, good, positive energies.
In Florence I came across many stationer’s shops with a workroom where they realized different objects from handmade paper on spot. They make handmade paper in a large variety of styles, with different handmade prints and patterns.
Although I usually work only with recycled paper, as a ruling ethic , this time I couldn’t resist the tentation to have a try on this special, very appealing papers. I only bought one shit of beautiful dark olive green with golden and silver winding pattern.
I tried to highlight as much as possible the qualities of the paper, avoiding any extra ornament that could have been distracting.
So, here is a series of earrings that came to life under the Tuscan sky, in a very calm and pleasant atmosphere, from exceptional materials.
I enjoyed very much every step of the process, from the acquisition of the paper until the last touch of the final piece. I hope you’ll like it and enjoy it at least as much as I did.
I’m presenting you L U S H – 2016 fall collection of eco jewelry.
It’s rich, it’s warm, it’s chunky! It’s inspired by Tuscan sunsets through the cypress and Mediteranean pine trees and over the mild sea. It’s here to bring you joy and inspiration!
Soon, very soon, my steps will follow the road to the sea and my bare feet will merge into the sand and salty waters.
Soon, tehre will be no barrier between men and stones, the body will dive trembling into the depths of the marvelous, gloomy, fantastic, ancient underwater life. Soon secrets will be revealed.
May these barefoot sandals accompany your journey this Summer leting space for connection with the elements.
This post is a testimony of gratitude for such a wonderful moment, seing Maria Raducanu, an exceptional Romanian jazz singer, on stage, in this marvelous place – Banffy Castle in Bontida, Romania, And, on top of it, having the chance to show my appreciation for her in a small but very meaningful gesture, offering her one of my favourite necklace, tahat I was wearing that night.
The fish swimmed to another sea leaving me with the memory of an unique moment. 🙂
Thank you Maria for your wonderful voice and for the warm, powerful and senstive person that you are!

I thought it would be interesting to mention the music that accompanies me in making jewelery. Because music is also important to me and I think it is, somehow part of the process.
So, lately I left myself drifted into deeply misterious realms of delicate poety and sound by the music of David Sylvian.
